"Nice hotel in a small town in CK. There is a Loccitane shop next door to the hotel. Room is not very big but just nice for 2 pax. Lacking in room amenities and personal touch, so you have to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers and body cream. They only provide Loccitane body shower gel. As it was cold & dry and I have forgotten to pack my body cream in the overnight bag, the receptionist is very helpful to let me use the body cream in the hotel lobby toilet. Their breakfast spread is good. Staff is friendly. Nice peaceful environment. The location is good for CK shuttle pick-up. Recommended!"

"The location was great. Easy self check-in and check-out. Small outdoor seating area. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge, and everything is newly renovated. So far, so good! We simply overlooked the fact that there was no TV in the room. However, we weren't too happy that there were no curtains, blinds, or anything similar for blackout at night. A bed sheet and a large towel were also missing. Furthermore, the breakfast for around €12 is not worth it. Sandwiches or scrambled eggs aren't exactly a wide selection. You can get more for your money at the nearest café. So, the value for money could be improved."

"This was a fantastic stay! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The room was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully arranged. The amenities, like the hand cream, shower gel, and fragrances, were all carefully selected, high-quality items – a complete and considerate range. The room's decorative design felt artistic, making every moment spent inside feel comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast exceeded all expectations! There was a lavish buffet spread with items like cheese, sausage, cooked ham, Chia Seed Yogurt Parfait, and much more. It was very diverse, and you could also get freshly made omelets and other breakfast options, all of which were absolutely delicious~ The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to both the Old Town and the bus station, which made getting around and sightseeing a breeze. Overall, the entire stay was excellent~ A truly attentive and well-run hotel~"

"A total of three double rooms were booked. The front desk gave the smallest bed room. The bathroom was barely 25 square meters. The suitcase was difficult to pass. One of them also had an unusually strong perfume smell. It was suffocating (it is recommended to choose a twin room, the room area is 30 square meters). The front desk service attitude is average, cold and impatient. The hotel does not have an elevator. It is difficult to take luggage upstairs. It is said that the outside vehicle cannot enter the town without a license. The hotel has a shuttle bus to send (charge 15 euros, saying that parking is not free, did not ask whether it is saying that the shuttle bus or the car waiting in the parking lot outside the town) But you need to contact the front desk, otherwise you can drag your luggage on the road full of small stones and walk 800 meters to the store. "The room was clean and hygienic, the environment was quiet, and it was not far from the supermarket and the old town. The waiter was warm and thoughtful, and he helped to call a taxi immediately. However, this so-called beer town is not a town at all, but a city. It is several kilometers from the long-distance bus station to the hotel. "The location is great in the town center. It is easy to access river and castle in few minutes walking distance. The room, bed, bathroom and all accommodations were great and clean. The breakfast was very good included in the price. The staffs were very helpful with smile all the time. For people who drive car there, you need a permission ticket (100czk) to drive into the town for loading/unloading the luggage. And it's cheaper to buy the parking ticket (200-250czk) in the hotel and park wherever they have contract with."

Everything was great, including breakfast, but most importantly, the service was excellent! We had booked a room that could have been either a king-size bed or two single beds. We contacted the front desk online, and they immediately checked for us and made a note to ensure we got a king-size room. That was really reassuring. We arrived two hours early, and the front desk told us our room was ready, allowing us to check in two hours ahead of schedule. This is quite unusual in Europe, and we were very grateful! The room was cozy, and the TV even looked like a picture frame. We had a lovely night there.

The location is right at the entrance of the castle, so if anyone who wants to get up to the highest point of Cesky Krumlov in early morning or late night, this accommodation is ideal (Although I'm not one of the early bird) The room we got was very spacious, nice clean bathroom and towel with proper hot water. So it makes a comfortable stay. The room is self check-in and the only downside is that it is located within a restricted area, only certain vehicle with permit are allowed to enter. With all the rocky road built around this area and there is a stair you must climb to reach to the entrance. It can make travelers with luggages challenging. However, that could be said with all the hotel in this area, not just U Zambu. And luckily with the help of the host(contacted via WhatsApp) we were able to get a taxi booked, close enough to the entrance. The host had been responsive and very helpful along the stay. So i do recommend this place, especially anyone who is looking to stay longer than 1 night. The location is right at the centre.

The B&B is located in the ancient city. Cars cannot enter. You have to drag your suitcase for a long distance and a big slope to get there. The suite is super large, with a shared kitchen and washing machine. The bathtub is not blocked by glass or shower curtain, and water easily splashes on the ground. There are no toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Later I found that they were placed on the bed in the room. You can check in by yourself with the password to get the key. It was a bit difficult at first. Fortunately, the landlord is very patient and can also add WeChat video guidance. If you don't have much luggage and plan to stay for a long time and cook for yourself on a family trip, this B&B is still good.

The pension is located right on the square, and most attractions are within walking distance. Check in place is in restaurant. Staffs were nice but when I checked in, they were so busy in the restaurants, no reception like you imagine. The room is spacious, and since I visited in winter, there was a heater provided—but it wasn’t very warm, except for the one in the bathroom. It’s more suitable for travelers with small luggage because there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs, and the streets in town are quite uneven. However, one thing that confused me was the city tax. On Booking it said I would need to ‘pay at property’ €2.55, but when I arrived, I was charged 50 CZK per person. Since we were three people, it came to 150 CZK (€6.20). It would be better if the platform displayed a more accurate estimate.

Similar to the homestay in the small town of CK, clean and comfortable, although the town is not big, it can be done in half a day, but it is wrong to stay for one more night. The staff are nice and will recommend the food in the town. Breakfast is more Western. If you leave your belly to eat local food, you can actually do it. It's a warm breakfast, but the taste is different.

The apartment room is not bad, it is indeed quite big, and the guy at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. But the most annoying thing is that there is no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, it will be very troublesome. We were lucky on the first day we arrived. The guy at the front desk enthusiastically helped us move upstairs, but we checked out too early, so we had to carry it downstairs by ourselves. It was very tiring. Opposite the hotel entrance is the CK town’s internet-famous restaurant, Cave Restaurant. This restaurant seems to be mostly visited by Chinese and Asians. We ordered the set meal, which was a bit too much for two people, but the taste was okay. There is one thing we need to pay special attention to. We came from Prague by flixbus, and we needed to take a taxi to the hotel after getting off the bus. However, UC does not accept Uber and Bolt. There is a taxi stand opposite the bus station, but there are very few taxis. In the end, we had to call the hotel and ask the front desk guy to call a taxi for us. Taxi can only be paid in cash, so it is recommended to prepare some.

We had an excellent stay with Villa Gap for two nights. The online check-in was quick and smooth, easy to navigate. We were satisfied with the room including a bedroom with two beds, enormous bathroom, and living room with open kitchen and a very comfy sofa. Clean, quiet and spacious. Walkable distance to the Cesky Krumlov Town (15 minutes walk) and 5 minutes drive to the supermarket. Cooking experience was pleasant especially with dish washer provided. Bathtub and air-dryer might flaw the perfect experience. Water was yellowish from bathtub and no hot air from air-dryer. Or otherwise, everything is perfect. Highly recommended!
