The hotel is wonderful, the staff were very polite and kind to us at all times. The cleanliness of the rooms was unbeatable. And attention was provided at all times. I recommend it 100%!! Very close to the tram and bus connections, although it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town.

The fire alarm in the 6th floor corridor went off twice during the night, at around 3am and 6am, the first time ringing for over 15 minutes and the second time for a little less, without being able to contact reception and when after several attempts they picked up the phone, they answered “false alarm, it’s coming, it’s coming” and continued ringing for another 5 minutes. What a night! The next day, when we left the hotel, not one apology.

A decent hotel for a one night stay on the way to another place. The facilities are decent, but it is obvious that it has been used for a long time or is very old. It is not like other B&Bs. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Other things need some maintenance, such as the bathroom door, the screen, etc.

Very clean and easy to reach from Bilbao airport. It can be reached in 20 minutes by walking, 3 minutes by taxi or Uber. There is also a shuttle option. Also, the breakfasts are local and delicious.

✴︎Pros: - cozy and natural woody taste room which is definitely my type - water is free of charge if you ask the front - sunshade was smart enough to be controlled by buttons ✴︎Cons: - no place to get foods besides the restaurant located inside the hotel - ordering by an item is not available for at least the lunch time we went, had to order 2 items for each person including dessert - location is a bit far from the busy area of San Sebastian however taking taxi only took 12-13euros even at night, and taking a bus is easy on the way since going to the bus stop is really within a minute. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are easygoing to get around taking a taxi and a bus and rather sleep in a quiet area.

In general, it's all right but they should check cleaning better because under the bed there was a bottle of refreshment and another bottle of water under the gardens so it makes a little doubt about the cleaning service. This was communicated at reception but they only took note and did not give any solution

It's a 15 minute walk from Kikutetsu station and bus terminal, and a 5 minute walk from the city center private railway station. There is a large supermarket nearby. There are many restaurants nearby, including one that serves Basque-style Japanese cuisine (the owner chef is Japanese). The hotel is stylish and clean. The only drawback is that the elevator doesn't come easily. Internet speed is ok.

I stayed at the Sercotel Hotel in Barcelona last year, so I chose the Sercotel Hotel in San Sebastian this time. The location was very convenient as it was within walking distance from the San Sebastian bus terminal, and it was also convenient for sightseeing and about a 10 minute walk to the old town. (Concha Bay is also nearby! Perfect for getting up early in the morning and walking.) It's quiet because it doesn't face the main road. The hotel is an old building, so it can't be helped, but the sound of doors opening and footsteps from the next room could be heard quite a bit. Also, the floor was tilted (lol) The room itself was clean and comfortable. There was no free bottled water or amenities (toothbrushes, gowns, brushes, slippers, etc.). The hot water and water pressure in the shower were good. The bathtub was filled with hot water quickly. I didn't eat breakfast, but it seemed like you could eat it on the same day for around 14€. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again when I come to San Sebastian again.

But the devil was hidden in the details. 1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off). 2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV. 3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time. And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT 3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?). 4) We get a fan to cool down. 5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective). This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating. P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea) The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

Good sized room and bathroom, but there was a massive pillar right in the middle of the room which was quite awkward. Had the room at the start of the corridor near the lifts so it was a bit noisy at times. No tea or coffee facilities in room, which feels like a bit of a basic. Went out for breakfast rather than use the hotel facilities as there's plenty of options about. Only there for 2 nights so didn't seem worth kicking up a fuss about any stuff. OK for overnight but not a long stay from what I saw.

I thought the sauna was included in our stay that’s why I booked the hotel. When I’ve mentioned it to the staff about not having an additional cost to it when you book online, they told me is part of the spa . This is very confusing as if it was part of the spa why mentioning it and not including it in the spa section . Spa and sauna are not the same and if it’s a cost to it , that should be mentioned. Anything else was amazing . Also they don’t have a separate cost to the sauna only ! I just wanted to use the gym and the sauna , no spa though! There was no possibility to book the sauna without the spa. It’s like 20 euros per acces not per day which I thought it’s a rip off especially when you are already booked with the hotel and you’ve paid for your room! Again staff showed no flexibility , it was either pay for something you won’t use or you don’t get it! Ended up not booking it because I did not want to use the spa , and I thought it was a lot of money (20 euros) to pay for 15 min use of sauna only.

You should specify that there is no parking as such in the hotel, but you are simply reimbursed 10% of the nearest pay parking. And it would have been good to have air conditioning at 30 and peak degrees, and not just that they offer you heating.

The hotel is a few steps away from the Guggenheim Museum. It is very convenient to take a walk to the city market and the uphill cable car. The breakfast buffet is relatively good, with hot and cold food. Paid parking in the basement is also convenient. Need to book in advance. The front desk and restaurant waiters are more enthusiastic. A hotel that can be recommended.

Good friendly service. The breakfast was good and the counter crew helped to book local taxis. Directions and locations of tourist destinations were well briefed by the crew during check in.
