I booked a double room on Trip for solo travel. It was really good value and a short 10 min walk from the station. I booked this hotel because it was great value and I was day tripping to London and did not want to pay London prices. So budget friendly. This is a great hotel! The environment is friendly and very luxurious. I enjoyed sitting in the foyer drinking coffee. The staff were very polite, efficient and booked me in very quickly. I was given an upgrade to the executive room on the 8th floor. It was very quiet and the bed was huge and super comfy. It had a great coffee machine and extra skin care in the bathroom. The room was very clean and the bed was pristine. It was a great view on the 8th floor. I payed extra for breakfast and it was excellent. I was impressed with the service and choice of hot food. The food was hot unlike other hotel breakfasts. It had vegan and vegetarian options and a very good choice of healthy breads and bagels. I really felt I was getting a high end experience at the hotel. It also had a coffee machine and a bath! I would definitely stay here again because of the quality and the better cost for solo senior travel. I really hope I can stay here again sometime. The efficiency of the trains to London make it an ideal choice for a quality hotel experience without the London prices. The images you see are of the view from room 822, the body care in the bathroom, the choices I made at breakfast, the foyer, the room itself. I hope you find it helpful.
OMG the place was just amazing! We definitely will come back again! Although the hotel was located quite far from city Center, i.e., an hour from Oxford University, half an hour from Bicester, but 15 mins drive from Waitrose, which was good enough for us (chill but enjoy the world class racing cars around). The facilities were new. The staff was friendly ( strongly felt it in the breakfast session), there was own car park just next to the apartment too. Free 15 mins electricity charging outside the reception. Free access to gym and swimming pool… everything just fabulous!

Lovely view of the lake, much prefer not having a crappy breakfast included in the price, room was spotless, nice shower, decent desk/workspace.
Two minor negatives: the TV was teeny tiny and the placement of it really affected the work space when set up with a laptop, mouse etc. Secondly there was a pretty unpleasant smell at the top of the stairs like stale fish.
That's nitpicking though, it was an absolutely lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
It was lovely week off in the cute old English hotel. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for place to stay when traveling. Just half an hour away from London. Perfect place to spend weekend.
We have stayed many times at the hotel. But sadly it seems to be going down hill a bit . Our room was good but the bathroom was not in good condition, the sink tap was old and not in good conditions and the shower control didn’t work to turn the temperature down ( not good as this could scold someone) . The reception had no one on it several times so you couldn’t talk to someone. Then breakfast in the morning was nice but there was only one person trying to do everything which wasn’t good . Tables left uncleared and people had to wait ages to get served. The fruit juice wasn’t kept cold like it used to be , and the waiter used his bare hands to replenish the beard instead of tongs or covered hand . It’s sad as this hotel is a great place but not being run well .
House keeping every day, swimming pool + gym + sauna free to use, nice staff, free spacious parking, extra pillows, spacious room, lift access.
The only bad thing is the bath tub a bit small, and the shower curtain smells bad after use.
An excellent Holiday Inn 4* hotel in Aylesbury which has friendly front desk service (24 hours). Excellent breakfast facilities (buffet). Sports facilities swimming, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. There is also gym area. To get access to the pool area you require a code. There are locks in the changing room which I didn't like (combination) as my locker did unlock. Once you check-in you will be given a leaflet that explains about the hotel facilities and times. Thses pictures are from the men's changing room.
I stayed in Holiday Inn for the second time. I stayed in room 301. The room was very clean and tidy. It had a bigger than expected bathroom with good mirrors and a bath. The toiletries were good. It was very busy in the hotel and the breakfast was very busy with families. The breakfast was Ok the cooked breakfast was hot but the sweet pastries were limited. The range of cold meats was good. The fruit was good. The coffee was good. The breakfast spice was good. I did not use the health facilities. The bar was busy and I had to wait to buy a soft drink. The range of food on offer was good. I really enjoyed my stay at holiday inn. The service was good and I liked the luggage store facilities. These were free. The locality is good for food outlets and there is a large shopping mall opposite the hotel. It takes 18 mins to walk to the station. There was a marathon on while I stayed. So it was busy everywhere. The images shown here are of the spaces inside the hotel to eat, my breakfast, the free water, and the foyer space. I would stay here again. It’s only 47 mins to London and it’s a great price and a quiet hotel compared to London prices. Mexicans living in London were celebrating Cinco de Mayo outside the National gallery today and it was really great! The Milton Keynes marathon was also on today!

BBielsterModern interior - reception, bar area and dining room all very appealing decor and relaxing space to chill or have a drink. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality, well worth the money. Bedrooms were very clean and modern with nice toiletries and tea making facilities. Good location to get to Marlow and surrounding areas. Would recommend.
To note: you have to pay £7 to park the car for 24hrs
GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room.
Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries.
I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all.
Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.
GGuest UserLovely stay on a Monday night at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield. Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.
DDanny&RachelOverall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! I would have loved to give it a higher score because our room was so spacious, clean, and had a lovely modern design that made it very comfortable. However, I did have to rate it a bit lower because we were surprised to find that, while the travel app suggested that the standard queen-size room would come with both a bathtub and a shower, it turns out that only the premium suites offer bathtubs. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful— it was a shame that they couldn't do anything about the app. They mentioned that if you're a member and book in advance, there might be some great upgrade options available. It’s just a disappointment that the photos and description on the app were misleading, as they made it look like all the queen-size rooms had bathtubs too!
GGuest UserThis hotel looks beautiful from outside with a lovely ground and impressive entrance, but however, I found the room & common area not so impressive they need to give it a face lift to deserve the room rate. Especially with a high bathtub it’s quite dangerous as it’s slippery when you step into it to have a shower, even with the rubber mat on it , luckily I brought along my rubber slipper, which I can use to have a shower to prevent from slipping . Our room included breakfast, buffet table selection of food were poor, and the quality of food was not great even with basic smoke salmon it looks stale & the cooked breakfast was ok not impressive. The front desk reception staff were not helpful with problem . But the manager at the front desk was very helpful when we checked out , after hearing our comments about the problem he took note said he’ll look into the problem & told us to contact him when decide to stay with them next time. I do appreciate his helpfulness & trying to make the best of the situation, Cliveden Hotel should treasure him as the hotel manager.

AAnonymous UserVery satisfied with the hotel, the location is excellent, and the hotel service staff are very friendly, especially the restaurant manager Hulya, a Turkish girl.
