We stayed for just one night. It’s a very basic hotel, but I was pleased with my stay overall. The room was a good size and clean, and the breakfast was fine. The only issue was that the cutlery was quite dirty.
We stayed here at Rushton Hall, May bank holiday weekend. We decided we needed something different, something special this bank holiday and this place did not disappoint one little bit.
Its fair to say that this place has a rare, quiet and magical feel to it. From the moment we drove up the drive and stepped inside, the modern world just seemed to fade away. The manor’s old-world charm isn’t just in the architecture; it’s in the incredible sense of calm that settles over you.
We stayed in the zodiac room, and was wowed as soon as we stepped into it, stunning... just WOW!
The spa is super indulgent and relaxing just what you need with the amazing setting.
The staff are great too, they are really attentive.
Breakfast was exceptional was going to give it a miss but glad we didn't, highly recommend having it if your staying so many high end quality options to choose from.
We had an absolutely beautiful stay. The house has a wonderful, timeless character that makes you slow down and breathe. If you’re looking for genuine relaxation and a touch of something special, this is it. A total sanctuary we both left there feeling completely restored, and relaxed.
We cant wait to return.
The room had an unpleasant smell, but overall the experience was okay. It was good. The room was very nice and pretty, but there was not enough amenities in the lobby area other than that, the day was really good and peaceful
Very nice hotel indeed. Location in the center of Oundle. It’s an ancient building but well maintained. Hotel staffs were friendly and very helpful. Food was nice. Definitely recommend to stay at this hotel if you ever visit Oundle.
The hotel is located next to the golf course in Xiaojun, the environment is very good, and the price is very reasonable. But the elevator in the room on the first floor is difficult to find, there are not many staff, and the aisle is very long and the signs are not clear.
I recently enjoyed a relaxing stay at Barton Hall. The grounds are beautiful, and the spa was a highlight, especially in the sunshine.
However, the breakfast was disappointing. The English breakfast options were too salty, and the juice tasted synthetic, making it poor value for money.
The staff were somewhat strict about the rules for accessing the spa, which felt a bit excessive. Despite this, they were generally helpful and courteous.
Overall, a nice stay with lovely surroundings, but some improvements needed in breakfast quality and staff approach.
Parking is not clearly advertised as an extra £8 and I booked with trip which should include a free upgrade if available. Hotel seemed very quiet on a Sunday night but no upgrade offered or referred to. Ir the 20% discount in good and drinks I was entitled to was not mentioned either. The rooms are nice but the surprise fee for parking and no complimentary upgrade when applicable and available was disappointing as was the mechanical approach if the receptionist at check in.
A very traditional English hotel, like going back to the 18th century. Good environment, English breakfast, a very tasteful hotel.

Amazing
GGuest UserMy friend and I booked this hotel for one night's stay with breakfast included. Travelling down from Yorkshire, we had tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup to watch England and Delta's location was convenient for Northampton's Cinch Stadium.
We've not stayed at this particular Marriott establishment before but the price was reasonable and the reviews appeared positive.
We cannot fault the place; it was absolutely perfect!
The staff were all so welcoming, especially the gentleman on reception. Friendly, pleasant, helpful and engaging, offering advice and information on the surrounding areas; nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and that included our spacious twin room. Fittings and furnishings were of a very good standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. There's a nice ambience and our short stay was very relaxed and peaceful.
We had breakfast on site, at the Cast Iron Grill and it was delicious with so much variety. There's also the ”Grab and Go” food station, in the lobby with snacks and drinks available 24/7.
Despite the hotel being near the M1, the surrounding area is beautiful and picturesque, surrounded by fields with a nearby lake; it's ideal for a leisurely walk.
There's also ample car parking on site, which is complimentary.
Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.

HHumayun arifI recently stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Watford Gap and had a comfortable experience. The highlight of my stay was the reception staff, especially one gentleman who was incredibly polite and helpful. He made the check-in process smooth and ensured all my needs were met.
The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant night’s stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, making it an ideal stop during my journey.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service and a peaceful stay. I’ll definitely consider staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserDidn’t have time to use the spa or gym, but everything was clean & comfortable. Decent breakfast selection & good sized rooms with hot shower
GGuest UserWe were a group of friends and stayed for 1 night. We absolutely enjoyed it. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, aircon worked very well, breakfast was fantastic and restaurant staff were very friendly and fast, SPA facilities and staff were lovely. Check in and check out was super fast and we even got our rooms earlier than expected. Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!
TTheVoyagerLovely hotel easily accesible via the motorway. Good selection of food for breakfast including eggs made to order and waffles which you can make on your own. We attended a wedding close by and when we got back from the party, were really grateful that Hilton had a self-paying kiosk with bottled water and snacks. Will stay here again next time we’re in the area.
