Superb fuji view from the hotel itself with it’s good location. Staff are polite and nice, even with limited english we are able to communicate smoothly. They serve us well during the reception and dinner time. All the travel kits or toiletries are available with good quality, even the public onsen is available and well maintain. Good experience overall staying here.

I had to change my reservation which is not usual for me and I changed room in different nights but the hotel is very nice, Kofu is lovely and if you want to relax, the onsen is perfect. The onsen being the main thing, I’ve done a few hotels like this one and it’s always a pleasure, you go straight from your room with your towel, no need to ask anything or see many people, the hours are great since it’s open all night until 10am so you can have a last time before check out.

Arrived on a heavy snow and my shoe were all wet. Were told that our room were not ready but the lady quickly offered me a Shoe Dryer to dry my shoe. The room were quite spacious. It has beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The onsen have the same beautiful view of Mt Fuji. 20 mins walk to the Kawaguchi station. But within 5 mins walk around the hotel, there are Lawson, restaurants and also a huge supermarket. Recommended.

It was too cold to sleep at night, and the heater had a strong kerosene smell. It would also automatically shut off every ten minutes or so. There's no way I could turn it on every ten minutes while trying to sleep, it was too much hassle. The shower area was a bit cold when I first got in, it took a while for the water to heat up. There were two of us in the bathroom, and it also had two mirrors, but only one outlet and one hairdryer, so we had to take turns. The hotel might be 500 [currency] a night because of its good location; it's indeed very close to the station and Hirano-no-hama. However, it snowed heavily on the day we went, so we couldn't even see the mountain views, which was a shame. The breakfast in the morning was better than Toyoko Inn, but overall, it's far inferior to Toyoko Inn in other aspects.

We booked a room with a balcony and could see Mount Fuji right from there (picture 1). Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were excellent. There are two hot springs. The 'Mantenboshi' on the first basement floor has both indoor and outdoor onsen. The 'Tenbodai' on the second floor is outdoor-only and offers panoramic views of Lake Yamanaka, which is especially delightful when it's not crowded. The hotel is located on a hill, and since we drove, it was convenient to go down to explore the lake. If you don't have a car, you might want to consider your options carefully. Swan Lake Beach is just down the hill.

Kofu is my favorite city in Japan – uncrowded, quiet, clean, and well-organized. Every time I visit Kofu, this is my go-to hotel. The breakfast features traditional Yamanashi cuisine, and the complimentary late-night ramen is especially delicious; this time, for New Year's, it was upgraded to prawn soba. The public bathhouse is also very clean and orderly.

We were incredibly lucky to get room 111. As soon as we opened the window, there were many clever koi fish. Whenever someone was on the balcony, they would immediately come over. There was fish food available at the hotel entrance; it was self-service. We were very touched. We had a five-year-old child traveling with us, and the hotel staff always made sure to include the child's utensils when preparing cutlery in the restaurant, even though we hadn't ordered dinner for him. We will definitely come again. Thank you.

The room was clean. Amenities were provided. The breakfast was varied and delicious. It was a wonderful hotel with a Japanese feel throughout. I also used the large public bath, but there was visible dust on the fan in the changing room. The ice cream and lemon water after the bath was very good. I would like to use it again.

I have Had the best stay at Marriott, from check in to check out, from front staff to restaurant, they all very friendly and helpful! outstanding service! Hotel facilities are great too, love the outdoor hot spring with snowing view. Rooms are huge and clean, facing the forest 🌳 Foods are great also, they added a lot of Japanese element to western food. And they were all well-balanced. Very peaceful, welcoming and comfortable stay! Would definitely come back again with my families.

Very good reservation services, I had some enquiry to the hotels through email, and get a prompt replied! They guided me on how to book a bus to the hotel where the bus terminal is just in front of the hotel. Room was spacious , toilet very clean with a big bathtub. However we didn’t use as we headed to the free onset which is linked to the hotel too. Was lucky for able to get a mountain view room but Mount Fuji was too shy during my stay. And thank God it came out an hours before we board on the bus! Will come back next time!

HHenry_TDuring our stay, we managed to catch the sunrise moment of Mt. Fuji at early morning directly from our room window, we were at awe. We booked the family room for three and the room condition was clean with comfortable sheets. The location was great because its near to convenient store and nearby restaurant. They served varieties of local food and tasted delicious. The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I like the good experience of staying at this hotel and will come back again next time.

GGuest UserI stayed here three years ago. The room facilities are quite old-fashioned. However, the view outside the window is absolutely stunning, with the lake and mountains blending into a captivating scene. The breakfast had been fully booked by a group, so we found a breakfast buffet at Lake Dragon Hotel, about 100 meters outside the hotel.

GGuest UserLocation: This is probably the best location in Kawaguchiko, offering an unobstructed, prime view of Mount Fuji across the lake. It's right next to the famous Ubuya Hotel. Room: I booked what I believe is their best room type, a top-floor suite with a terrace, and it was very spacious. Facilities: Compared to the neighboring hotels, the facilities are indeed quite ordinary, and the onsen (hot spring) is also nothing special. However, considering it's a fifth of the price of those other places, the value for money is unbeatable. Service: There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Kawaguchiko Station, but you need to check the timetable in advance. Most of the staff seem to be of Indian descent? While their service attitude can't match the traditional Japanese level of meticulous politeness, it's generally okay. Food: Buffet style, and honestly, it was very average. Overall, for this location and value, it really has no rivals among the hotels situated along the lakefront in Kawaguchiko.

凡醬日本求生術Walked into the room and was immediately captivated by the window view. The stunning scenery was right in front of me, no need to even step outside to take pictures. In winter, the indoor heating plus the hot spring water just elevated the feeling of bliss. The in-room hot spring experience (definitely a bonus!) was amazing. The water temperature was perfect, keeping me warm in winter. I took a dip once at night and again in the early morning; the views were completely different. At night, it was all about quietly waiting for fireworks.

MM693401****Pros: 1. The Mt. Fuji view was perfect. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities were absolutely fine, even exceeding expectations. It's much better than some older, traditional hotels with Mt. Fuji views, offering excellent value for money at this price point. 2. The hotel service was also great. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and the housekeepers, everyone offered service with a smile. Perhaps because it was the off-season, another couple checking in at the same time received a room upgrade. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station. 3. The restaurant staff were very professional. While the sukiyaki for dinner wasn't a huge surprise, it was decent and had no flaws. 4. It's only a few hundred meters from Oishi Park, which is easily walkable. Compared to other attractions, it's a bit more niche, but the scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Cons: 1. It's quite a distance from Kawaguchiko Station, making it a bit far from other attractions. 2. You can't see Mt. Fuji at night due to the lack of light (which isn't the hotel's fault). 3. All rooms are non-smoking, and the small open space in front of the hotel with Mt. Fuji views is also a non-smoking area. There's only a small designated smoking area at the back entrance of the hotel. As a smoker, it's a bit inconvenient, but completely understandable and acceptable. 4. Also, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. The Oishi Store listed on Apple Maps is actually closed. 5. To reach the hotel, you have to walk up a relatively long slope. It can be a bit tiring if you're on foot, but once you're down the slope, you're right by Lake Kawaguchiko, and there are very few people. Overall, the hotel is excellent. If you're staying with a partner, you can take a walk along Lake Kawaguchiko below the hotel. With Mt. Fuji right in front of you, the atmosphere is romantic and there are few people around. Highly recommended.

KKanoksri K.The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. We chose a room with windows, and the hotel gave us a corner room, so the front window offered a perfect view of Lake Kawaguchiko, and the side window overlooked Mount Fuji. The hotel also has free hot spring baths, which was a nice bonus. We also booked breakfast and dinner, and they were quite good!

GGuest UserTraditional Japanese hot spring hotel with beautiful lake side view and experienced front desk. The hotel is located just near the famous Tenjozan cable car station and quite easy to access to other attraction site on foot or by riding a bicycle. A 90 min all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet is provided during the stay as well as the delicate Japanese style breakfast. Hot spring can be found in each guest room and on the 2nd floor for public use as well. Overall, I am quite happy with my visit to the Breezy Bay hotel.
