Domus Maria

This boutique hotel was conveniently located near the old town of Vilnius in rooms that were originally monk cells. The hotel is right next to the St. Theresa Church and the Gate of Dawn which are two interesting attractions to check out if you're in Vilnius. There are quite a few shops and restaurants nearby as well. We booked because the prices were very fair considering the location and we saw a review that said the parking was free. The parking is no longer free and costs 12 Euros a day which is still a decent price. A city tax of 2 euros per person per night was collected upon check in. The beds in the twin room we booked were very comfy and they had good pillows too. The room was very quiet and we got a good night's rest here. The room did not have AC but did have a radiator where you could control the dial. The room was a little stuffy but leaving the window opened solved this quickly. We appreciated the workspace, tea station and wardrobe in our room. The bathroom was nice too and had great shower pressure and a warming rack for towels. There is body wash and shampoo provided but the packets are a bit on the smaller side. It is important to note that you need to put the cleaning sign on the door in the morning or the room will not be cleaned. Cleaning included stocking up toiletries and changing towels. The breakfast was just a bit more when we booked and we enjoyed it. There were these apple stuffed crepe pancakes each day that were delicious and enough food to get the day started. The breakfast is set in a monk's dining hall and we felt that was pretty cool.

I will never ever come to the Baltic countries again for this and many more other reasons. I'm not from any country in which Russian is native language and I don't like to use it but if I in a country in which I know one of it's native languages - I use. I have used Russian in Lithuania because it would take more time for explaining what I'm saying to personnel if I spoke English. Speaking Russian caused that staff in breakfast room accepted me antagonistically (if they knew my political stance and what I did...). Huh! But I know the Baltic countries don't dare to boycott Russian-speaking because they have profit from them dominantly.

Good hotel at price, good breakfast, but it was very cold and heating has not yet been included. No teapot, not even on request, and since it is cold and there is no teapot, it is very uncomfortable. Yes, there is a cooler downstairs, but not a boiler and it is uncomfortable to go there all the time. Location is beautiful, staff is friendly
Loop Hotel Vilnius

The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the airport. To the bus station / railway station - about 10 minutes. ride. (Taxi cost us 4 euros). 24/7 reception - convenient for arriving/departing at night. Purely. Service at a high level. They speak Russian (if necessary). The breakfasts are excellent. I would say one of the best selections for a continental breakfast. The hotel is decorated in an interesting ”industrial” style. The very high ceilings in the room we stayed in gave an extra sense of space. The only downside I found was the weak water pressure in the shower.

If I had only one word to describe this hotel, it would be: stylish! From the entrance, the reception, the lobby, the breakfast room (with a glass roof!), the hotel restaurant, the staircase and the rooms: everything is coordinated with a lot of turquoise as the basic tone, metal, wood, and: funny figures in the flower boxes 🙂. Very appealing, you immediately feel at home. The people who work here also contribute to this (special thanks to Lukas from reception! 🙂 and the ladies and gentlemen from the breakfast service were on the ball and very attentive and nice). The breakfast (in a great atmosphere) was completely sufficient for me (but I'm not a big eater in the morning anyway). I had a room in the inner courtyard (with a view of the glass roof of the breakfast room) - I've never slept so peacefully in a hotel. Which was probably also due to the very comfortable bed. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom: the glass partition on the bathtub is definitely too small - I had to dry the bathroom after every shower; perhaps that is also a reason why it wasn't cleaned every day, even though my ”Clean up” sign was hanging outside. The cleaning staff may think that the guest has to clean the bathroom after showering anyway, so I can save myself the trouble... 😂 But that really should be the only criticism of this gem of a hotel. The rest - as already described - is simply great! Others have already written enough about the location and facilities, I have nothing to add to that.

a bit far away from bus and train station , but it is in a very nice location , kind of newly developed area (not the old town) , which is quite nice , not so noisy. Inside the hotel everything is new , all in all definitely worth to stay there.

Location is superb as it is walking distance from places of interest. There are restaurants and bars right next to hotel. I stayed over a weekend and it maybe so suitable for light sleepers like me. Very happening throughout night.

The standard room is very old. I think it needs to be refurbished. The breakfast is too messy, can't think of it as a continental breakfast
