I was in this fantastic hotel to celebrate the independence of Mexico from September 15 to 16, this hotel has the largest rooms, comfortable, impeccable, amenities and the best thing is the terrace that is on the top floor with an exceptional view, prices They are very reasonable, but best of all is the great team they have, starting with the reception, everyone is very professional and very friendly and with a warm welcoming smile.

Hotel Kumiai Inn

We really enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions. Unfortunately the TV in our room didn’t work eventhough it was connected to wifi. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to use our personal phones. The shower head is a rainfall type, but the water sprayed out in all directions instead of straight down which made it a little tricky to shower. The rooms have a system in which the room key is required to have electricity in the whole room. If you take it off, everything turns off. That means you can’t leave things charging unless you get a second key? We also were told that we could check out later the day off, but that was not an option because the hotel was so booked. Even though there were a few icks, it was overall a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and respectful. The bed is comfortable, the sheets smell great, the rooms are very clean, and the building is beautiful! It has a 5ft pool and a small jacuzzi (no bubbles) just warmer water than the pool. Pool water is great temperature. There is also a spa and massage services on the very first floor! Overall a nice place and I’d recommend it!
Hotel Principado Tijuana Aeropuerto

My son and I had a quick stopover on our way from Tijuana airport to San Diego airport, and this was just right. We checked in late, after 11pm, and the front desk was open and able to help us. A light breakfast of fruit, toast with butter and jam and coffee and juice were included, and my son got eggs with chorizo for a few dollars more. Our room was spacious and stylish with a smallish TV with some TV in English. The room did not have drinking water, so I went to Oxxo for a large bottle of water and some snacks, and did not have any trouble on the short walk. There was a ten dollar deposit that I got back when we checked out. The hotel had a van and driver available to go to the airport for $5. We were non the second floor and used the elevator, and there were some steps to our room and inside the room. The shower was nice and clean, as was the room. The breakfast staff in the restaurant were kind and courteous. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from Tijuana airport.

The hotel is in a good location, there are no other problems, but I booked a few more days, and they didn't agree to check out one day early... I suggest you book it for one or two days.

Quartz Hotel & Spa

I loved this hotel from the start ! Beautiful, luxurious and friendly staff . The Boca restaurant had amazing food and offered free breakfast . The rooms were stunning . Comfortable beds and pillow . The halls were a bit thin you can hear a lot but even as a light sleeper I was able to rest . The black out shades were great. The swimming pool was heated as well as the jacuzzi . I would definitely recommend . It felt safe , you can’t go to any floor expect the floor your are in with your key , spa which has a nice little gym next to it and pool floor . The pharmacy was just below it , super convenient and prices were not bad at all . The hospital was right there as well and a ton of restaurants including the ones attached and some across the street . They provide a free shuttle to the line . Absolutely wonderful .

This is the kind of place you stay to get a few hours of sleep after getting drunk in one of TJ's many drinking establishments. The hotel is right in the middle of the red light district. It is convenient to many of the establishments that people come to TJ for. If you don't care about anything other than having a bed in a convenient location, this place is a good value and may work for you. It's not a place you'll want to spend any extra time at. That being said, let me explain more about this hotel. It looks nice from the outside, and is set back from the main road by a private parking lot which is guarded. The security of this place is good, which is much appreciated considering the seediness of the area. The staff here are good too, very efficient and friendly. Check in and check out are a breeze and the staff will help whenever they can. The public areas of the hotel have been recently spruced up and look nice. The price of the rooms are reasonable. Those are the only positives, though. The rooms are just nasty - smelly, noisy, dirty. There is almost no natural light - one window faces the interior hotel atrium, and two tiny windows located in the shower room open to an alleyway. There is no fresh air in the rooms and no ventilation, other than noisy wall unit A/C which is only recirculating the same stale air. This is probably why the rooms have a smell. The walls are thin so you'll be hearing a lot of noise (though just from the inside of the hotel - the hotel is set back enough from the street that you don't hear street noise). The rooms were not clean, with little stains here and there, paint peeling off, mold in the bathroom area etc. There are also almost no amenities - no fridge, hair dryer, tissue box. There is a small safe, however. My towels were damp, probably from not being dried enough in the laundry. This hotel can serve a purpose but just know what you are getting if you make a reservation.

Although breakfast is included, it costs nearly $30 for two people. interesting. As long as you eat in the cafeteria, you have to attach it. I don't understand how the Mexicans counted. The breakfast included in the hotel is only 2 slices of bread, coffee and fruit.
