I initially stayed 2 nights January 2025, climbed Mt Kinabalu, and came back for another night. Different but similar rooms. Very comfortable bed, great shower; mini-fridge and safe also available. Restaurant served good food. A pity the Spa wasn’t open as after my mountain climb I could hardly walk and my legs and back badly needed a massage! Hamizam Bin Ismail, the Front Office Manager, was always very friendly and eager to assist wherever he could.

Hotel is in a good central location. Staff are friendly and quick to assist. I reserved a room last minute and was still able to get a good deal for a good size room that was clean. Bed was comfortable. Free parking in the lot right in front of the hotel.

A wonderful stay and couldn’t be starting in a different way of saying big thanks for the staffs Danny and Ahmad that was very attentive and friendly with my family, very cheerful since the beginning of our stay till the last day, noting with stay almost 2 weeks there . Another big thanks for Agnes during breakfast, very kind and cook delicious eggs . Staffs are very customer oriented, the facilities for kids are perfect , big thanks also for the staff (girls) from cool zone , where the kids had lots of fun. Food wise no matter at breakfast , dinner or snacks around pool very delicious . Improvements I would say, get better selection of draft beer, only have tiger . And the bartenders need to improve the cocktails , special the ones that are made around the pool. Celebration of new year was top notch for all guests I think . Definitely is a come back anytime soon .

The amenities provided although a bit worn out but were still adequate for a comfortable stay. Hospitality: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the hospitality extended by the staff at Borneo Inn. From the moment I checked in until the time of departure, the staff members were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Their personalized service added a special touch to my overall experience, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. One of the staff in reception was so rude. We came 2 hours earlier for early check in so later at 2pm we will just take the card. But at 2pm, another staff which is the rude one didnt said anything regarding the room either ready or not. She just busying herself with the phone. So we ask, why need to wait? She answered with a little bit high note, ”tiada bilik ready skg. Sy tunggu housekeeping update bilik kosong.” No appologies at all. We understand if no rooms available, but please inform guests & use your manners. Need to wait another 30 minutes to get a room. 🥲🥲

It was my first time to experience a water house. The slide went directly into the sea. It was very interesting. Service: The hotel's arrangements are in place and they can help you solve any problems you have. We booked a charter boat for snorkeling for two people. The instructor is also very professional and will dive to the bottom of the sea to help you catch the fish from the bottom of the sea. Facilities: As soon as I entered the room, I couldn't wait to experience the slide. At first, I was worried that I would sink into the sea if I slid down. There are life jackets at the front desk, so there is no need to worry. Free dinner: The dishes are very rich, the chicken is very tender, the crabs are also very fresh, there is crab roe in it, you can’t get enough of the shrimps

Lovely hotel, a little old (it opened in 1977) but you can feel it has got a lot of character. Kudos to EVIS from Bell Service, he’s a humble gentlemen who loves to engage with his guests. He assisted me with my luggage and escorted me to my room. He knows the hotel inside out and loves to share his insights. Also a shout out to MARY from front desk, she is amazing. She is multi functional with assisting me to check-in PLUS helping me with concierge matters regarding my flight ticket. Exceptional staff. Thank you for having me!

Love the stay! 😍 We stayed at Studio Premier Queen Room and it was perfect for my husband and I as they have literally everything! From the kitchen utensils, pots & pans, toaster, chopping board, knifes, they even have microwave! They even have iron & iron board! It really feels like home ❤️ Oh, also they have complete facilities too such as public washing machine, gym, swimming pool, meetinh room & more ~ Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu is just located at the city centre, it's so convenient! Thank again for the pleasant stay, love the friendly staffs too 💞 Definitely will be back again with my family next! 🥰
