I had a very satisfying stay here, with a rich breakfast and excellent service.
Location: It's near Bergen Central Station, with moderate distances to major transportation and attractions. If you exit the north side gate of the central station, it's right in front of you. The south side of the station is for the airport light rail. It's about a ten-minute walk to the bus terminal, and only fifteen to twenty minutes on foot to the cruise port. All transportation is very convenient.
Cleanliness: You generally don't need to worry about cleanliness in Nordic countries, and the room was very clean. However, please note that room cleaning is on request, and you need to inform the front desk a day in advance. Also, trash needs to be taken to the front desk yourself or you can ask them to clear it. A slight inconvenience.
Environment: The room size was decent, much more comfortable than what you'd find in Japan. However, in October, the room temperature was a bit cold, and it rains a lot in Bergen, so I had to ask staff for an electric heater. (P.S.: The panel in the room is not for air conditioning or heating; it's just a temperature monitor).
Also worth mentioning is the breakfast; it was incredibly abundant, and the variety was good. You could eat different things for two days without repetition. In Norway, this breakfast was the best meal I had every day đ. If you're catching a flight, you can ask the kitchen to prepare a takeaway, but it's limited to one sandwich and one apple.
Service: Very thoughtful and attentive. The front desk is 24/7 and they were very responsive to all requests. Full marks for service!
Other: Downstairs from the hotel is a restaurant and bar, which seemed to be packed every night. Worth trying if you get the chance.

Self check in using machine. No 24hours reception. Small compact room but sufficient. Bathroom is much larger than expected. Location is good, shopping mall and bus/train station is just 5-7 minutes walk and there is supermarket nearby. Staff at office is helpful with the printing of luggage tag required for my luggage porting from Bergen to Oslo. However, the room temperature stays at 19/20 degC despite adjusting to 24degC, too cold for me. No foot towel provided. You may need to climb small flight of stairs for some rooms so take note if you have heavy luggage. No kettle in the room but you can use the kettle in kitchen, there are also disposable cutleries provided in kitchen. You can do laundry (subject to payment).

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right next to a Nio car dealership and just outside the fish market. Bryggen is only a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. We even had a direct view of the landmark Bryggen from our room window. Parking is available in a large lot just a couple of blocks away, offering plenty of spaces, including many for electric vehicle charging. I'd recommend using the EasyPark app, which allows you to set and adjust your parking duration conveniently from anywhere. Our room size was decent, though the amenities were quite basic. I also noticed a higher proportion of female staff. On our check-in day, a weekend, we found the sliding window in our room wouldn't close. The lovely lady at the front desk explained that maintenance staff were off on weekends but kindly offered to try and fix it. She couldn't, but fortunately, I managed to tinker with it and get it working myself. Breakfast was relatively generous. They were quite punctual about clearing everything away at closing time â perhaps a bit eager to finish their shift. We had booked for two nights. However, on our first night, we were on a road trip and unfortunately missed the last ferry due to misjudging our time. The hotel refused to refund the cost of the first night, so we ended up checking in only on the second morning. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room, but remember to bring your own slippers and toothpaste. The shower enclosure is quite simple, so be mindful when showering (as water might splash out).
Overall, everything was excellent and I was extremely satisfied. The hotel's proximity to the airport is a huge plus, as it's only a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient for early morning flights or late-night arrivals. The complimentary breakfast was decent.

The location is very wonderful, the breakfast and the high-class treatment of the staff and services. The cleanliness is lacking, it needs a simple touch, and the bed and pillows need to be reviewed, otherwise everything is wonderful. The staff and restaurant crew are very wonderful.
The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean, though quite small. The view from the entrance was pleasant, and it's only a few minutes' walk to Tram Line 1, making it convenient for airport access. However, the earliest Tram Line 1 service isn't until 5:50 AM.
I had booked the room at a slightly higher price, and later found a lower rate on Ctrip. When I tried to inquire about a price adjustment for the difference, the hotel was completely unreasonable and quite unhelpful.
It's located next to a local neighborhood with a supermarket, but it closes early. A minor drawback is that if you get hungry late at night, the hotel lobby doesn't sell any food.

Sound proofing of the rooms are real bad. If you are to leave the windows open for ventilation as there is no air condition unit, you will not be able to have a restful night as those rooms facing the street can hear the noise of the people talking and laughing, vehicles noise, garbage truck till very late into the night and early in the morning. Even if you are to close the windows and bear with the poor ventilated room, you can still hear the noises from the street.
Otherwise a decent hotel in a good location. Service is lukewarm and just average.

We stayed one night. Staff are all very helpful. The rooms comfortable and breakfast was all we needed. A good quiet atmosphere and well situated but not at the correct harbour for our cruise, but good for wandering around and just near the funicular railway for excellent views of this area. Taxi fares like everything here in Norway 2-3 times typical UK price.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, modern, clean, and spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast has a great variety of options, the potatoes in particular were amazing! (I need to learn the receipe for how they cooked them!) Gave plenty of energy for exploring Bergen, the fjords, and the mountains, made even easier due to the hotels brilliant location right near the waterfront. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful looking hotel with plenty of parking spaces and Western breakfast is an ideal stop for a break. Convenient to nearby famous attractions such as Eagle Road and geiranger.

JJuDithhhScandic Torget in Bergen has its pros and cons. The staff were friendly and the location is great right by the fish market and close to attractions. The view is nice too.
Breakfast was busy and the food was just okay with limited options. The door lock was frustrating because it didnât always lock right away. One of the elevators felt a bit unsafe and almost got stuck. Overall, itâs a decent hotel but needs some improvements.
JJian_jizhiThe location is excellent. Strolling around at sunrise and sunset offered pleasant surprises and was incredibly relaxing. It was lovely to see people casually jump into the sea for a swim, which added to the laid-back atmosphere. The fish market was bustling with people, but I opted not to join the crowds.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location! Adjacent to the colorful fishing houses, the corner sea view room has windows on both sides, and you can see the panoramic view of Bryggen. The hotel itself is a historical building and an early port office. There is no need to set a wake-up alarm, because there are seagulls knocking on the window on time every morning đ. The front desk service attitude is very good, but the actual room cleaning efficiency is a bit low, and it needs to be reminded. The free dinner is an unexpected surprise.
AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.
GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a former stock exchange with a certain sense of design, but the rooms are rather cramped. The breakfast restaurant is beautiful. If you stay, you must add breakfast. The hotel is located within a 6-minute walk from cable cars, hot chocolate, piers and other attractions. You can park your car at the door of the hotel to unload your luggage and check in, but the parking lot is actually quite far away, 7 minutes by car, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk back to the hotel.
GGuest UserItâs just okay and nothing special. It wonât win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I donât know how Iâd manage if there were two of us, itâs a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and itâs close enough to everything youâll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.
