🏨 A New Family Favorite: Dormy Inn Akita (Nakadori Onsen Komachi no Yu)

Our first experience with the Dormy Inn brand in Japan turned out to be an absolute win—and Dormy Inn Akita really left a strong impression on our entire family. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were pleasantly surprised that the front desk always had someone who could speak English. That really made things easier, especially when traveling with kids. The rooms were clean, thoughtfully laid out, and very comfortable. One of the best perks of staying here was the in-house onsen, which was perfect for winding down after a day of exploring Akita. We also really appreciated the free coffee available at the lobby and the complimentary late-night ramen—a signature Dormy Inn touch that quickly won us over! For the price we paid, the value was fantastic. With the quality of the amenities, service, and little extras included, Dormy Inn feels like a real gem. Safe to say, this stay has made us fans of the Dormy Inn chain.
