🅿️ Parking: Navigate directly to Pinqing Tea Farm. Best part? It's free, and the owner is super friendly, giving direct parking guidance. ⛰️ Sightseeing: After parking, head straight to the entrance of the White Tea Viewing Platform (it's very close, and the owner will point the way). In just a few minutes, you'll reach the viewing deck, overlooking the vast tea fields and soaking in nature's beauty. 📸 Photo ops: Spend 1-2 hours exploring and taking pictures. You can try specialty teas at the viral "One Leaf Tea House," though we skipped it—just snapping photos outside is already Instagram-worthy! Nearby, local tea farmers set up stalls where you can sample white tea and other local products for free. 👗 Outfit tip: Wear comfy shoes (you'll be walking, maybe even wandering through the tea fields). Light-colored clothes stand out beautifully against the lush green backdrop. 🌞 If it's sunny, don’t forget sun protection and bug spray. 🥤 On the way down, stop by Pinqing Tea Farm to taste their white tea—we ended up buying two affordable cans to take home. The owner mentioned new tea leaves aren’t ready yet; harvesting happens around Qingming Festival, and you can even try tea-picking and roasting! Afternoon: City Walk in Downtown Huzhou 🚗 Around 2 PM, drive from Pinqing Tea Farm to downtown Huzhou (~40 minutes). 🅿️ Plenty of parking options—we chose Aishan Plaza’s underground lot based on our destination. Our route: Yishang Street → Xiaoxi Street 🚶🏻‍♂️ Yishang Street: One of Huzhou’s most historic old streets, packed with traditional snacks, antique shops, and an old opera stage. The longest lines usually mean the trendiest bites. 🚶🏻‍♂️ Xiaoxi Street: Perfect for photos. This classic Jiangnan watertown neighborhood preserves Ming-Qing era architecture, with cafes, craft workshops, and bookstores oozing artsy vibes. The street’s art gallery and Youche Lane’s handmade crafts area are photogenic gems. 🍜 Around 4 PM, we grabbed dinner at Xiao Huo Zi Gan Tiao Noodles near Yishang Street before heading back. Specialty: Gan Tiao Noodles are a Huzhou staple—chewy noodles tossed in a unique sauce, customizable with various toppings for rich flavor. 🚗 Returned to Suzhou around 6 PM (originally planned to visit Taihu Ancient Town, but skipped due to chilly weather and mixed online reviews). Other Tips: • Transport: Public transit in Huzhou is convenient, but driving or taking a taxi is best for Anji White Tea Viewing Platform. • Stay: If time allows, spend a night in downtown Huzhou to experience local nightlife.
