Ankara castle

#celebrateit Ankara is the capital of Turkey and has many ruins dating back to the Roman and Ottoman Empires. From the castle of "Ankara Castle" built by the Byzantine Empire around the 7th century, you can see the beautiful cityscape of Ankara. The "Ataturk Mausoleum" is a magnificent monument to the tomb of Mustafa Kemar Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. Inside, there is a museum, and his portraits and favourite items are also on display.
