Hunting for Matcha 📍Asakusa

📍Asakusa station Exit A4 Get out of the station, turn right and walk out to the main road, then turn left and walk straight to the intersection, you will find the entrance to Asakusa Temple. In the souvenir shop area, there is a recommended matcha shop. 📍Morihan shop, the ice cream is very delicious The matcha is very rich and mellow. There are 3 types of ceremonial grade matcha to choose from. The outside looks like a corner cafe with a few tables and people waiting in line to buy ice cream. When you go inside the shop, you can walk down to the basement, there are 2-3 more tables in there. The shop sells matcha powder in a white and gold jar. The taste is not too nutty, just right. 📍Sawa shop, Asakusa branch This shop is located on the bridge, inside the temple. There is a picture of a large ice cream cone in front of the shop. At first, I was going to buy souvenirs because I saw that there were a lot of snacks, but I found matcha powder. This shop is pure matcha that made me open my mind. It is very easy to eat and the price is not too expensive. It's a temple visit where you can pray and get a lot of matcha to take home. 🙏🏻🫶🏻✨ If you visit Asakusa Temple, I highly recommend it.
