[Yugawara] XIV Yugawara Rikyu

XIV Yugawara Rikyu is a members-only hotel that opened in 2017. In our spacious room, we started off by toasting with the complimentary sparkling wine in the fridge. The hotel's selling point is its four open-air hot spring baths that make use of four different springs. You can enjoy a variety of baths in the large public bath, but you can also enjoy a hot spring bath in your room, which was better than we expected, so we spent most of our time in our room. A nice touch was that the large public bath also had a sauna in the women's bath. For breakfast, we chose a Japanese restaurant. It was neither good nor bad, but we could tell they had put in a lot of effort. As it's still a newer hotel, it was clean overall, but we were also pleased that the restrooms on the restaurant floor were clean.
