Penang's iconic Paradise Temple

Geukraksa Temple is a symbol of Penang along with Guanyin Temple. It is a bit far from the city center, so it is a bit burdensome to recommend to short-term travelers, but it is worth visiting for those who are staying for 3 nights and 4 days. I took a bus, and when you get off in the neighborhood, you can see a huge Buddha statue on the mountain. The moment you get off, you can feel that it is not an ordinary big thing. If you buy a ticket for the ropeway at the entrance of Geukraksa Temple, you ride the ropeway up 3 times. It was amazing because you had to press the button to go up like an elevator yourself, and they took you to places a little farther away by buggy service, so I felt like a VIP. There are shops at each ropeway stop, and I put a wish ribbon in the main hall. When you reach the highlight of Geukraksa Temple, the Great Buddha, the scale is even more overwhelming, but it cannot be captured in a photo. And when I got up, I saw that you can drive up to the Great Buddha! I think it would be a good idea to ride the ropeway up and take a Grab taxi down. Or, there are motorbike drivers who will take you from the Great Buddha to the entrance of Paradise Temple, so consider various options for getting down. I walked down, but it's a road so it's dangerous and quite a distance so be prepared for it to be difficult.. #Malaysia #MalaysiaTravel #Penang #PenangTravel #CityTravel #ParadiseTemple
