Free Culture and Calm Views

#cheaptravel Penang is full of cheap travel gems, and Kek Lok Si Temple stands out as one of the best. Entry is free, yet you get to see so much—elaborate temple structures, blooming gardens, and peaceful pathways with mountain views. I was surprised by how much there was to explore. Even the statues and animal carvings hidden in the greenery gave the place a magical feel. This is the kind of spot where you can spend hours without spending much at all. I took the public bus and packed a light lunch, turning the whole experience into a super affordable day trip. If you love cultural spots and peaceful settings, this temple is ideal. Plus, it’s one of those places where your camera just can’t stop clicking!
