Old House Temple

Wat Ban Kao or some people call it Wat Ban Mon is an old and large temple of Phan Thong. It is located on the banks of Khlong Om Kaew. People like to release fish and other aquatic animals at Wat Ban Kao, as well as come to pay homage, ask for blessings, make merit, and offer alms to the monks for good fortune. Inside the temple are enshrined Buddha images in various postures, Phra Sivali, Luang Pho Sothon, and a sculpture of Luang Pho Pen, the former abbot of Wat Ban Kao.
