Samut Songkhram has another interesting temple, Wat TriJindaWattanaram, which was originally called Wat Mai Sam Chin. This temple has 4 replicas of the Buddha's footprints, stacked and placed in a small chapel. The Buddha's footprints are both painted on wood, gilded, lacquered, and cast in metal. This type of carved Buddha footprint is often found in Myanmar, but in Samut Songkhram, it is only found here. This temple also has many paintings of the life of the Buddha by Hem Vejakorn.
