Today we drove to find lunch at Wat Takhian Floating Market. We happened to see someone review that this place is open on weekdays, so we decided to stop by. It was only a 20-minute drive from home. When we arrived at Wat Takhian, we walked inside and found a small floating market zone along the canal. There are areas selling things both inside and along the canal. It is a medium-sized floating market, not very big. The day we came was Wednesday, so there were things for sale, but not a lot. Many shops were closed. There are food, snacks, drinks, vegetables, and fruits here. We ate fried oysters. It looked very delicious. The dish we ordered was the oyster dish. The bottom layer is fried mussels and the top layer is topped with oysters. It was great. We ordered one dish and got to eat both dishes. This dish cost 80 baht, which is not expensive because the oysters are big. The sauce is also delicious and rich. For those who have never been to Wat Takhian Floating Market, come and visit. However, I recommend coming on Saturday or Sunday. The shops will be open all the time.
