#ThailandTrip #BangkokTourism #IbisStyles #FashionableHotel The Ibis Styles Hotel where I am staying in Bangkok is a convenient hotel located just a one-minute walk from Huai Kwang Station, number 18 on the blue line of the MRT (subway). Next to the hotel is the Swissotel, and across the road is Soi Boon, a famous restaurant for Poo Hop Pung curry. To the right of the hotel entrance is a large, pure white square, with white stone elephants decorated with gold, one on each side in the foreground, and a beautiful white and gold altar in the back center, where a gold Buddha statue is enshrined. It is a solemn scene that is typical of a Buddhist country. The Ibis Styles Hotel is only about 10 years old, and has a very stylish exterior, as you would expect from a new hotel, and inside, the lobby is unified with a casual interior. The front desk is designed using wood, is bright and not stuffy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and made a good impression. The lobby is lined with casual chairs and sofas made of fabric and wood, and in the kids' area there are sofas with lots of large stuffed toys sitting on them, and there is also a slide, making it a fun space for families. The whole lobby is bright and has a pop impression, but it doesn't feel cheap at all, and it has a relaxing image like your living room at home. In the overseas hotels I have stayed at so far, the lobby has a heavy feel, with leather sofas and marble tables, and although it has a rather luxurious feel, it doesn't give off an image of familiarity, so I never stayed in the lobby for long. Here, in the lobby of the Ibis Styles Hotel, you sit on a chair or sofa, order a soft drink or beer at the counter, and relax for a while before heading out... it's a style I've never experienced before, and I personally found it very enjoyable.
