U1S1 Hotels in Bangkok are ridiculously expensive

Capella is the newest and most expensive hotel at the moment. If you stay in Bangkok for 4-5 days, it is recommended to stay for two days, because it is not very convenient to go to bars and dance at night in the old city. It is relatively close to the Ferris Wheel Night Market, and there are several trendy coffee shops around it, so you can check in there as well. The room is of decent size, with its own balcony and facing the Chao Phraya River, with a nice view. I personally prefer sleeping on a soft bed, so I really like Capella's bed.
