Erawan Shrine 2023

My first Bangkok trip with my family after the pandemic. We went to the Erawan shrine as usual for our Bangkok trip. This time round, the place is more tidy. The person clears the stick very fast. Since the light up of Joss sticks is not allowed, the atmosphere there is peaceful. Unlike in the past where Joss stick smoke will trigger your eyes. The prices for the praying items have increased. But we will still purchase them and place those flower offerings to them. There seems to be more benches for people to rest. There are also sheltered benches in case of rain, they can seek shelter there. Remember to pray at all the four Buddha. Put the candle and flowers at each of the Buddha areas. You will feel a great sense of achievement after your prayers there. You can take a BTS and alight at BTS Chitlom. We took a grab car from ratchada area for about 100 baht one way. The address is at 494 Ratchadamri Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand #bangkoktrip #tripblazers
