Explore Early Rattanakosin Architecture at Wat Noi Nang Hong

🏡 Wat Noi Nang Hong was established in 1807 by Phra Ajarn Pin, who purchased the land from local farmers and built a monastery. It is believed that Mr. Noi and Mrs. Hong funded the construction of the temple or were the landowners. After the temple was completed, Phra Ajarn Pin became the first abbot. 🧱 The temple was granted Wisungkhama Sima in 1819. The important and interesting features within the temple include: 🏠 The ordination hall, with stucco gable decorations crafted by artisans of the Rattanakosin period.
