It stands out for its homemade food and beautiful, pleasant atmosphere. It’s perfect for a relaxing meal, listening to the sound of waves and watching the Rama VIII Bridge bathed in lights at night. It’s no wonder that the restaurant is popular with both international and Thai tourists. If you have the chance, you should definitely stop by and try it out. 🍽 Menus I tried I learned that the owner’s mother, who is in charge of cooking in the kitchen, is originally from the South. So, the food on the menu here tends to lean towards Southern cuisine, but there are also a lot of other dishes to choose from. Here’s what I ordered: ➡️ Soft-shell crab fried with garlic – Deep-fried until crispy and not oily, sprinkled with fragrant fried garlic and dipped in a spicy sauce, it’s a great way to start the meal. ➡️ Stir-fried stink beans with shrimp – Although it’s served in a small dish, it uses large shrimp with soft, firm, and fresh meat. The taste isn’t as spicy as authentic southern food, but it’s a well-rounded spicy dish that both Bangkokians and tourists can enjoy. So delicious! ➡️ Gaeng Ranjuan – Since this restaurant has a retro atmosphere, the menu must include royal cuisine like Gaeng Ranjuan to complement it. This curry has a shrimp paste flavor, shallots, and uses soft pork with cartilage. It is seasoned with a little sweetness like ancient Thai cuisine. It is also very enjoyable to eat with hot rice.
