[Bangkok] Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen

Bangkok is all about temples! This time, I went to a temple that I couldn't go to when I went to Bangkok before! It's a place I've seen on social media a lot and I've always wanted to go to. I didn't realize it was so big, so I went and saw a lot of places, and I realized that you can't really understand unless you go there! I walked about 15-20 minutes from Bang Phai Station on the Blue Line platform 2! I hadn't had lunch, so I found a restaurant while walking and decided to eat, so it didn't feel like I walked that much, but I think that's how long I walked! It was far from the station, so I recommend taking a taxi.◎ I wanted to ride the local train, so I took the train on the way there. It was only 16 baht per person, so transportation costs were really cheap! I bought a one-time ticket because I was only going there, but it seems there are also one-day passes, so I thought traveling by train would be fun! When I arrived at the temple, there was a place to pay respects to the monk at the temple, and when I went further inside, a big Buddha appeared! It was so big that I wondered how many days and people it took to build it lol But it was so impressive It was just overwhelming! If you go further inside, you will see a white building! You have to take off your shoes and go up, but I think it was the 5th or 6th floor by stairs? There is a colorful place on the top floor! I was surprised that it was on top of a building🫢 On the floors in between, you can see things from history, which was pretty interesting! It's pretty spacious and divided into floors, so you can take your time looking around! There are a lot of tourists on the top floor, but you can see it from 360 degrees, so it didn't feel too cramped! The moment I saw it, it was so beautiful! It's not that big, but it was made with a lot of attention to detail in the ceiling, pillars, walls, and so on, which was wonderful! This is a place I would definitely recommend if you go to Bangkok◎ There was a cafe in front of the building, so I cooled down there and called a taxi back to the city! It took me 20-30 minutes to get back to the city by taxi! I started before the traffic jam so it didn't take that long! If you're going, I recommend taking a taxi as it's easy to get there!
