Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram Ratchaworawihan, Bangkok It is a royal temple of King Rama V and King Rama VII. Wat Ratchabophit combines Thai art from the Rattanakosin period with ancient Khmer and Western art. Inside, the chapel and the ordination hall have a structure similar to a Western church, except that the ceiling of the ordination hall is decorated with golden vine patterns. There is a large pagoda in a Thai-style, recessed style, decorated with Benjarong glazed tiles throughout the entire structure. It is the principal pagoda of the temple. The top of the pagoda contains 6,018 relics of the Lord Buddha.
