Don Mueang Airport's Airport Express Line: A New Way to Enjoy Bangkok's Sunset

When dusk drapes Bangkok in golden-red hues, the Don Mueang Light Rail Station transforms into a stunning observation deck! The light rail journey from Don Mueang Airport to Bangkok's new Bang Sue Grand Station takes only about 20 minutes. The experience is similar to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Express Line but with fewer passengers. After exiting the international terminal's arrival hall, follow the signs to the left, pass through the domestic terminal, and cross the sky bridge to reach the light rail station. The walking distance is slightly long, taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes. It's worth noting that the SRT Line is not part of the same system as Bangkok's MRT subway or BTS Skytrain, so transfers within the station are not possible. If you wish to switch to the BTS, taking a bus directly from the airport to Mo Chit Station might be faster.
