Akara Bangkok: Quiet Luxury on a budget

I stayed at Akara for a bachelorette trip and was genuinely impressed. The hotel’s design felt like a nod to old money elegance refined, classic and full of character. It reminded me of a luxurious jazz-era hotel, with beautiful interiors that made for stunning photos throughout our stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a marble bathroom and a round bathtub by the window that added a touch of indulgence. For the price, it felt incredibly premium. The staff were attentive and helpful. They provided a universal adapter when I needed one and arranged a last-minute airport ride that saved me from missing my flight. It is located about 1 kilometre from CentralWorld, with a 7-Eleven just nearby. I didn’t try the breakfast but the 24-hour gym was a thoughtful bonus.
