Cuban chic in Asian metropolis

Havana Social Club in Sukhumvit Bangkok is one of those hidden bar and nightclubs that take a little effort to find. Located off Sukhumvit Soi 11 in a small alleyway, with no signage at the front (just a neon sign with “Telefono” mark the small doorway). Looks like a public pay phone where a code must be pressed to open the door to the hidden bar. Once inside the decor brings you straight to Cuba, with the DJ playing Latin beats and reggaeton. The place really starts picking up around 11pm with everyone dancing their version of Latin moves, and the beat is pure Latino. So much fun! The drinks are all Latin inspired and there are cigars to be tried upstairs in the cigar bar.
