A fantastic family stay in Beihai! Everyone loved it!

This five-star hotel, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, boasts an unbeatable location. Just a one-minute walk from the back of the hotel takes you to Silver Beach, where the kids had a blast beachcombing, splashing in the waves, playing in the sand, and watching the stunning sunset! Our kids adored the family suite! It was fully equipped with everything we needed: a huge bathtub, bunk beds just for the little ones, children's bathrobes, kids' toiletries, a kiddie swimming ring, sand toys, and more. The hotel also features indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, a game room, and a children's play area. The indoor heated pool and fitness center even offer breathtaking ocean views! The kids had a wonderful time in the children's play area. Upon check-in, children can get a little travel passport from the concierge, and after collecting all the stamps, they can exchange it for a small gift 🎁. We enjoyed a delicious and varied buffet breakfast in the first-floor restaurant, with a wide selection of both Western and Chinese dishes👍. On the 21st floor, you can enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the sunset over the ocean – so relaxing and romantic! We dined at the Defenglou Chinese Restaurant on the second floor and tried the Guangxi specialty, pork tripe and chicken hot pot 🍲. The free-range chicken was incredibly flavorful, and the set meal also included abalone, beef, and other fresh ingredients! After a breezy day at the beach, coming back to a steaming hot pot was pure bliss! The service was warm and attentive, and we received a welcome fruit platter upon arrival. For a star-rated hotel, the price offers excellent value. We'll definitely choose to stay here again for a couple of nights on our next family trip to Beihai.
