古北水镇 Gubei Water Town (Simatai Great Wall)

It is about 100 kilometers away from the center of Beijing. It takes about 2 and a half hours by bus (including traffic jams). The entrance fee is 160 yuan. If you want to take a boat, it costs about 120 yuan more. Next to the ancient city is the Simatai Great Wall. You can climb it, but there is an additional fee. The overall atmosphere is good. There are rivers and mountains. It can be considered another good suburban resort in Beijing.
