Yonghe Temple: Where History Meets Harmony

#discoverchina Yonghe Temple, located in Dongcheng District of Beijing, is a famous Tibetan Buddhist temple and a nationally protected cultural heritage site. It is also one of Beijing's popular tourist attractions. Originally the residence of Emperor Yongzheng before he ascended the throne during the Qing Dynasty, it was known as the "Residence of Prince Yong." Later, it was converted into a temple and thus named "Yonghe Temple." Visiting this site offers insight into its rich history and cultural traditions.
