Strolling Through Time at Gubei Water Town

#summervacay Just outside Beijing, Gubei Water Town felt like stepping into a peaceful old village. With stone streets, calm canals, and traditional houses, the whole place had a slow and charming rhythm. Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, was one of the most beautiful stops on our Bangkok trip. As the sun hit its tall spires, the temple sparkled with light such a calm and stunning sight by the river. We climbed partway up to enjoy the view and took our time walking around the detailed carvings and colorful tiles. The breeze from the water made it even more peaceful. It’s a quiet, meaningful place that’s worth visiting especially in the early morning when it’s not too crowded. We walked by the water, crossed little bridges, and tried local snacks along the way. The air was fresh, and the view of the Great Wall in the background made it even more special. It was a relaxing day no rush, just enjoying the quiet beauty of the town.
