Thai Buddhist Temple Bodhgaya

Wat Thai Buddhagaya, India 🌱🙏💐It is the first Thai temple in India. The ordination hall is a replica of Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawihan in Bangkok, which is considered one of the best architectures of the Rattanakosin period. Inside, there is the principal Buddha image, Phra Buddha Chinnarat, which was given the name "Phra Phuttha Thammasorn Chompu Thipaniwat Sukhothai", meaning "The Lord Buddha, the greatest in Dharma, returned to the Indian subcontinent to be happy".
