#Emotional Accommodation As soon as it opened, a photo of a jacuzzi next to a stone wall on the feed made me go to Boeun, the morning of Binpa, a small Jeju in Boeun. A place with a perfect view of the apple orchard instead of the tangerine orchard view of Jeju. A space that was not lacking in curing my Jeju disease that prevented me from going to Jeju right away, even with the wooden building under the red slate roof. A place where each and every emotion of the space went so well with the warm owner couple, the morning of Binpa. A space that I like so much often makes me look forward to the next season, and it was a space that went well with the fall when apples were in full bloom, but it was also a space that I looked forward to in other seasons. ‘Everyday Glamping’ renovated from a closed school I visited Everyday Glamping located in Boeun renovated from a closed school. There are 7 glamping sites in total, and each room has an individual outdoor spa! I had a quick lunch, warmed up at the spa, and had a complete healing with a barbecue and a fire pit🧚🏻‍♂️ You can have a barbecue on the outdoor deck, and there is an outdoor spa, and inside the tent, there is a kitchen and table, and inside the tent, there is a bed and a bathroom. There is a huge TV in the bedroom, and Yankee Candles and bathrobes are provided.😆 There were even plenty of hangers to hang your clothes❤️ There were even cute slippers outside… ෆ̈ What I liked the most was the spacious and comfortable bathroom! When I go glamping, the bathrooms are always small or dirty, but here, it is clean and comfortable, so I was completely satisfied😘 The hot water comes out really well, and the water pressure is the best! There is a cafe when you enter the main building, and it reminds me of my elementary school days. It was nice. It seemed like the construction wasn't finished yet, but I want to visit again later☺️ The pink muhly at the main gate is pretty, and anyway, it's a place where the scenery will become more beautiful as time goes by. When I travel all over the country, I always seem to visit temples in each region! It's like visiting a shrine when traveling to Japan or a cathedral when traveling to Europe😁😁 As a 'temple travel enthusiast', I always look for one structure whenever I visit a temple in each region. It's the two pillars 'Dangganjiju' shown in the photo. A long wooden flagpole, 'Danggan', made to hang a large flag with a picture of Buddha's virtues. And the stone pillar erected to support this 'Danggan' is the 'Dangganjiju'. The flag, Dang, fluttering high in the sky, is said to have served as a sign that 'there is a temple here'. It not only served as a compass for people visiting temples, but also symbolized that the area was a sacred area. I think it played a similar role to the ancient Samhan totem poles that symbolized this place as a sacred area or a small island, or the red wooden torii gates that you might have seen at least once if you've been to a Japanese shrine! (But I always think it resembles a church's neon cross sign🤣🤣) After a long time, the wooden flagpole rotted away, the flagpole was moved to a museum, and now only the flagpole support remains. My first impression of Boeun after leaving the terminal was that it was a 'city where time has stopped'. On the road without a single convenience store, there were old-looking neighborhood supermarkets like 'Daily Supermarket' and 'Haetae Supermarket', and inside the supermarket where I went to buy water, there was a refrigerator with an advertisement for 'Cola Independence! 815 Cola!' and a safe at the checkout counter made by Lucky Goldstar. On the way to Beopjusa Temple, I was dazzled by a tourist hotel with dusty windows, an unattended arcade, and a 'nightclub' heavily armed with neon signs. At this point, the entire neighborhood could be used as a set for the drama series 'Reply'. I found out that this area was a popular school trip destination for middle and high schools across the country in the 80s and 90s. This place was booming with students flocking from all over the country. But at some point, the number of schools coming here for field trips began to decrease, and as villagers started heading to the city, this village landscape where time seemed to have stopped was created. The buildings at the entrance of Mt. Sokri still remain as they were when the village was doing well. Are they reminiscing about the so-called 'Leeds days' when the village was doing well? #summervacayOkay, so I somehow convinced myself to hike up to Munjangdae Peak at Songnisan, 1,054 meters of “why am I doing this” followed by “ohhh okay, this is worth it.” The trail starts out nice and friendly, then suddenly it’s like, stairs... rocks... more stairs... and your legs start questioning life choices. But the forest is beautiful, like straight out of a fantasy movie. Super quiet, just birds and your own wheezing (lol). Right before the peak, there’s this intense rock section where you're basically climbing up with railings and praying a little. But then you hit the top and BAM—ridiculous views. Mountains for days, clouds doing their thing, and this peaceful temple-looking structure that makes you feel like a wise mountain monk. I sat up there, sweaty and proud, snacking on trail mix like it was a feast. Totally epic. If you're up for a little suffering with a big payoff, Munjangdae’s got you. Just bring water… and maybe a second pair of legs.

#summervacay Spent the day hiking around Boeun in Sokri Mountain National Park and wow, it’s a total chill-out spot. The trails are peaceful, the air is clean-clean, and the forest feels like it’s giving you a big leafy hug. Didn’t have a super strict plan, just followed the signs, wandered a bit, and let the mountain do its thing. You get a bit of everything: quiet trails, rocky climbs, little streams, and these insane views once you gain some elevation. The forest is super dense in parts, which makes it feel like you’re miles away from real life. And the sounds? Just birds, wind, and the occasional squirrel rustle. Found some quiet spots to snack and vibe. Not too many people, which made it even better. Definitely felt like a hidden gem, not touristy at all. If you're looking to unplug and move your legs without killing your knees, Boeun and Sokri got you. Would go back in a heartbeat.

You get these awesome views as you climb, especially near Munjangdae Peak, it’s a bit of a detour but 100% worth it if you’ve got the energy. Even if you visit when the weather is warm, there are a lot of trees around, so you can feel the fresh green 🌳. However, the trees that turned white due to the snow were really beautiful! 🤍🌨️ The interior was really neat and clean itself! 🧼✨ The bathroom was also really clean, and the diffuser scent made me feel good. 😊 The utensils were also clean and well-prepared, so it was really convenient to use. 🍽️ The water temperature in the pool was just right, so I was able to have fun 🏊♀️ even in this cold weather!
