#springitinerary Phanom Rung Historical Park is seriously one of the coolest spots in Thailand, and way underrated. It’s this old Khmer temple complex sitting on top of an extinct volcano in Buriram, yeah, how epic is that? The whole place has major ancient vibes, with stone carvings, long walkways, and temple gates that make you feel like you’re in some kind of movie. It’s super photogenic and surprisingly peaceful, especially if you go early before the tour groups show up. The views from the top are amazing, especially when the breeze hits just right. You don’t have to be a history nerd to enjoy it, just walking around and soaking up the atmosphere is enough. Everything is well-kept, and there’s info around if you wanna learn more about the history. Bring water, comfy shoes, and your camera. You’ll def leave feeling like you just discovered a secret treasure.
