Gadeokdo Yeondae Peak

#summervacay Took a random trip out to Gadeokdo and ended up hiking to Yeondae Peak, zero regrets. The trail starts out easy, winding through forest paths with little peeks of the sea as you go. Super calm, not too steep, and the ocean air hits different. Major “I needed this” energy. As you get higher, the views start getting real. There’s this lookout point where you can see the coastline wrapping around the island, straight-up postcard material. The summit isn’t super high, but it gives you this peaceful panoramic of sea, sky, and little islands scattered around. There’s also an old military observation post near the top, which was kinda cool and random. Felt like I stumbled into some local secret. Barely saw anyone else on the trail, which made the whole thing feel even more special. Just nature, fresh air, and good solo time. If you're looking for a lowkey hike with big scenery, Yeondae Peak totally delivers. Definitely going back.
