#2024wish Just had an incredible time exploring Skopje Fortress! 🏰 Located in the heart of Skopje, North Macedonia, this historic landmark offers a fascinating glimpse into the city's past. 🇲🇰 The entrance fee was quite reasonable, around €3, making it an affordable and enriching experience. 🎟️💸 The fortress sits atop a hill overlooking the Vardar River, providing stunning panoramic views of the city below. 🌆⛰️ Walking through its ancient walls, you can almost feel the centuries of history that have unfolded here. 🕰️🌿 One of the highlights for me was exploring the various sections of the fortress, from the imposing stone walls to the quaint courtyard and historic buildings within. 🏰🌳 The Museum of the City of Skopje, located within the fortress grounds, offers further insight into the city's rich heritage. 🏛️📜 After visiting the fortress, be sure to take a leisurely stroll along the nearby Stone Bridge, one of Skopje's most iconic landmarks. 🌉 Or explore the vibrant Old Bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs and sample local delicacies. 🛍️🍲 Don't forget to capture the memories with some photos against the backdrop of the fortress! 📸✨ #skopjefortress #historiclandmark #cityofculture
