The Beauty of Cadiz City

Newly Opened Aluyan's Place in Cadiz City, Province of Negros Occidental. The site is still being developed so take my review as a primer. First, going there is around (estimate) 30km from the City Proper of Cadiz and took us around 45minutes to get there. On the way you will be greeted by other Cafes and Resorts from left to right, but Aluyan's Place is a little more farther. No rough roads if you're concerned about that. But the steepness of the final stretch might test non-4 wheel drive vehicles. There are many motorcycle and bicycle groups we saw when we got there. Once you get there, you will be asked and checked on the entrance, plus an entrance fee which is around 25 pesos per head Will be charged and you will be presented with a welcome pillar and a winding road that goes up where some may find quesy and those with fear of heights might find a little concerning. Just close your eyes if someone is driving for you. There will be a first parking lot that could fit around 5 cars just in front of their main pavilion where usual visitors will eat, stay and get the major amenities like the CR, TV and such. There is another parking lot just above which is wider but not yet developed, hence a little slippery to park in when you visit and there is some rain. Once you're settled there are a lot of pathwalks to explore, like individual private cottages, a group swing, a mini forest with hammocks, and what appeals to me most is the camp site. Yes there is a camp site! There are a lot of welcome and directional signs and there are a lot of guides with radios to make sure you are received properly and settled appropriately. You can call to reserve cottages, which I would suggest. Once you settle down, in our case on the "Christian" cottage, aptly named as we were visiting as a Ministry. You will be immediately presented by food and beverage options and I commend the service crew for providing excellent service even when they have to go up and down the steep steps, back and forth just to get and deliver our orders. They are also all very polite I may say. They serve freshly cooked food, for our meal the highlight is the Native Chicken Tinola, but all food tastes awesome. And mind you, it's so fresh that all their vegetables are taken fresh, root and all in a farm right there just behind our Cottage. For coffee drinkers, the coffee is primarily the "Cadiz" flavor, so it's something very traditional as well. They have a slew of food options, and I might just need to go back there to try them all. The views? Oh how awesome for nature lovers, there are rivers, falls, rice terraces, plains all in front of your and around you. Hills, mountain ranges and yes my ears popped with the air pressure and the breeze invites you to take a nap. The stillness and quietness is well enough when the generators are down and you can ponder and be at peace with nature while not being too detached with the conveniences. #bestislandtraveltowns#tripinspired#café#camping #cafe
