Staying at the Shangri-La in Cairns is super convenient!!

The Shangri-La is very close to both the airport and the marina. You can take a taxi🚕 from the airport. We arrived at the hotel at noon, and though the room wasn't ready【luggage can be stored and delivered to the room】, the hotel's buffet breakfast was quite good. 🍽️There are plenty of dining options nearby. We had lunch at Villa Romana—their tiramisu is absolutely amazing🍰. For those planning to visit the Great Barrier Reef, the Shangri-La is super close to the Reef Fleet Terminal, just a 🚶3-minute walk away. We took the Quicksilver tour to the Outer Reef, and the meeting point for boarding was at this terminal. Downtown Cairns is quite small, and staying at this hotel means most places are within walking distance. We visited the aquarium, the night market (which starts daily at 4:30 PM), and the local market. The Dundee’s restaurant near the marina is highly recommended【they even have a full Chinese menu】.
