Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome

#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #canterbury The Via Francigena ('the way through France') is a long-distance walk with a difference - a 1900km pilgrimage on foot from Canterbury to Rome. People have been making pilgrimages to Rome since the fourth century. When you go to Canterbury, you will be walking on part of this road. You will even see the sign just outside St Augustine's Abbey.
