Explore the Qingjiang Gallery in Yichang and experience the beauty of the Tujia culture

Located at No. 68 Yazikou Village, Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang, Qingjiang Gallery is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national forest park. Attractions • Daoying Gorge: The first attraction you will see after boarding the boat at Geheyan Wharf. The gorge is 5 km long, with tranquil waters, secluded valleys, and steep peaks. It is home to natural landscapes such as Wenfeng Reflection, Camel Drinking Water, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, and Wuling Buddha. • Xianren Village: Located 1 km from the gate of Qingjiang Gallery Scenic Area, it is spring-like all year round. It is home to Tujia stilted buildings, Xianren Cave, Wenfeng Temple, and more. There are three sacred spring wells in the village. • Wuluo Zhongli Mountain: The birthplace of the Tujia people, it is formed by the connection of Wuluo Mountain and Zhongli Mountain. The mountain is more than 300 meters high, and the top is home to stone peaks such as Kuitou Rock, Niujiao Rock, and Yannu Rock. Tour routes • Route A (Sacred Tour): Includes attractions such as Qingjiang Buddha, Daoying Gorge, Xianren Village, and Wuluo Zhongli Mountain. The round trip takes about 4–5 hours. • Route B (Shadow Tour): Basically the same as Route A, but does not include Wuluo Zhongli Mountain. The round trip takes about 2 hours. You can walk along the cliff plank road to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qingjiang. • Route C: Take a boat to enjoy Daoying Gorge and Xianren Village. This is a more relaxing route, and the round trip takes about 2 hours. Take a boat and sail along the Qingjiang River, as if you have entered a poetic time tunnel. The river is as clear as a mirror, reflecting the strange peaks on both sides, as if the world uses water as ink to paint this magnificent ink painting. The reflection of Wenfeng is like a giant pen dipped in green paint, writing the poems of time on the river; the camel drinking water is lifelike, like a desert ship reluctant to leave this bay of green water. The boat sails on the blue waves, and you are in a painting. In Xianren Village, the four seasons are lush, and the Tujia stilted buildings are scattered, telling ancient stories. The three sacred spring wells in the village flow with mystery and sweetness, whispering the legends of the past. Wuluo Zhongli Mountain carries the soul of the origin of the Tujia people, and every inch of land is imprinted with historical traces.
