Chengdu 4 Day Trip Itinerary

📍 Itinerary Overview We stayed for 4 nights near chunxi road and for transportation we mainly taxied as a lot of attractions were quite far from the centre of Chengdu. 🚩 Sightseeing Route Day 1: (half-day) - chunxi road (iconic hanging panda statue, hotpot dinner) - taikoo li (elegant shopping district) - wanping street (late night eats, bars) Day 2: - panda research base (entered through west gate to avoid crowd) - wuhou temple (iconic red walls, lots of history) - jinli street (street food and souvenirs, right next to the temple) Day 3: - qingcheng mountain (we climbed 130 floors!) - dujiangyan irrigation system - nanqiao/ south bridge (beautiful blue lighting on the water after sunsets) Day 4: - sanxingdui museum (museum is super well organized and it was so interesting!) - people’s park (drink a tea and watch a show, ear cleaning) - kuanzhai alley (souvenirs and snacks) 🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions My must-see recommendations are the panda centre and sanxingdui museum. Drinking tea at people’s park while watching a show was a highlight too and lots of locals are there. If you love to hike Qingcheng mountain has beautiful scenery and it’s worth a visit too. 🍜 Local Cuisine Must try the Chengdu hotpot and if you are bad with spice like me get the tomato soup base it’s delicious. Their noodles are good too but a bit heavy with the sauce. #chengdu #travel #china
