Chiang Khan

Chiang Khan is a small district located on the banks of the Mekong River at the border of Thailand in Loei Province. It is a place where many people temporarily escape the chaos around them to experience the peaceful slow life, allowing their hearts to fill with happiness once again. They also get to meet the smiling locals, as well as the houses in Chiang Khan that are divided into small alleys that look unique. ✅Chiang Khan Walking Street: Another colorful nightlife that you shouldn't miss. Various shops along the road are decorated with lights. There are countless food and souvenirs to choose from. Along the way, there are many beautiful photo spots. And the most popular food that anyone who comes here can take a photo and check in is Khao Jee. 🙏Offering sticky rice to monks: Tourists must be ready before 6 a.m. and then come down to wait on the road in front of their accommodation. Some accommodations also have alms sets prepared for them. Or if you don't have any, you can buy more from the morning market. This is an activity that everyone should not miss when they come. 🛖Accommodation: We stayed at Baan Lamun Aun Khong, a room for 2 people on the upper floor of the Mekong River. Price: 1,200 baht per night. -In the morning, there is coffee, Ovaltine, bread, and fried dough sticks. -There is a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, hot water, Wi-Fi, and a shared balcony with a view of the Mekong River. There is parking next to the accommodation. -The accommodation is located on Walking Street Soi 3, about 200-300 meters from the walking street. The walking street starts selling things at Soi 7 to Soi 21. 🍀Atmosphere: The atmosphere along the Mekong River is very good. There is a bridge for walking and enjoying the view or cycling.
