Phuping Palace

This palace is located on Doi Buak Ha, Tambon Suthep, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Mai Province. The area around the palace is approximately 400 rai, divided into an area open for tourists to admire, approximately 200 rai. The word "Doi Buak Ha" is a local name, meaning mountain. Phuping Palace is a central Thai house plan called "Ruen Mu". It has a traditional Thai architectural style, made of brick and mortar, raised floors, and a Thai-style roof. Inside, there is a throne room, dining room, bedroom, and bathroom. For royal guests, they are located on each side. There is a large veranda and a bird pavilion as a place to sit and watch. Open daily from 08.30-16.30 hrs. Tickets are sold from 08.30-15.30 hrs. However, visitors to the palace will not be allowed during the royal visit (around January to early March).
