Phra That Doi Suthep is a sacred place of Chiang Mai Province. It is located on Doi Suthep. You can drive up by yourself according to the GPS and park at the parking lot or hire or take a red songthaew up. The road up the mountain is winding and steep. Be careful when driving. When you get there, you can choose to walk up the stairs yourself, about 300 steps, or buy a ticket for the electric tram (elevator). You can choose to walk up and down, or take the elevator up but walk down, or take the elevator both up and down. If there are a lot of tourists, you may have to wait in line for the elevator for a while. When you arrive, you must pay homage to the Phra That for good fortune. Go see the beauty of the Phra That. If possible, you should come in the morning because the weather is not too hot. The light is beautiful, suitable for taking souvenir photos.
