Chedi Liam Temple (Ku Kham Luang), Chiang Mai

Wat Chedi Liam or Wat Ku Kham Luang is an important and beautiful ancient temple in Chiang Mai Province. With its age of over 700 years, Wat Chedi Liam was registered as an ancient site in 1980. The highlight of this temple is the 5-storey, 20-story castle-shaped pagoda. The Hariphunchai-style square pagoda is an architectural style of pagodas during the Hariphunchai Kingdom. It is located not far from Chiang Mai city center. It is on the Ko Klang Road, Tambon Tha Wang Tan, Amphoe Saraphi, Chiang Mai Province. From Mahidol Road, take the road with the sign for Ban Ko Klang. Drive straight ahead and you will find Wat Chedi Liam on the left. After making merit and praying to the Buddha, walk around the temple and don't forget to take some beautiful pictures as souvenirs. There are also small shops inside the temple selling inexpensive local fabrics. Don't forget to stop by and support them.
