Two and a Half Days in Chiang Mai

Itinerary: Day 1: Smooth entry into Chiang Mai—>Tha Phae Gate, Wua Lai Walking Street—>Temples in the Old City, Wat Chedi Luang—>Night Safari Day 2: Elephant Cafe (Elefin Farm & Cafe)—>Alice Cafe (Chom Cafe and Restaurant)—>Nimmanhaemin Road Day 3: Warorot Market—>Fly to Bangkok Night Safari: It's okay. I recommend you don't go too late, as many animals will have eaten and gone to sleep. Elephant Cafe: Recommended. You can interact with elephants and take photos with them. Alice Cafe: Very small, with lots of people taking photos. Nimmanhaemin Road: Lots of food and shopping. Warorot Market: Just an old market. There are lots of things, but it's hard to find what you want. Chiang Mai Night Bazaar: Not recommended. Food: Near the Old City: Kat's Kitchen: Seafood Tom Yum Noodles (delicious) Blue Noodle: Clear Beef Noodles (not delicious) Michelin Banana Pancakes Rotee Pa Day: Street stall, open from 6–7 pm (okay, average) Near Nimmanhaemin Road: Kao Soy Nimman: Teresa Teng's favorite curry noodles (not as delicious as expected, small portions) Small BBQ stall: Opposite Omakase by Sensai, open from 6–7 pm (delicious) Joost Smoothie: Smoothie (delicious, but unfortunately it's not mangosteen season, so I didn't get to try the mangosteen smoothie) Egg Rice (good)
