A budget trip to the Baan Dam Museum👬😍💐😎

#summerbudgettrip This summer, I took a budget trip to the Baan Dam Museum, also known as the Black House, in Chiang Rai. Created by Thai artist Thawan Duchanee, the museum features a unique collection of dark, traditional-style buildings filled with surreal art, animal bones, and symbolic sculptures. The entrance fee was low, making it perfect for budget travelers like me. I used local transportation and brought my own water and snacks to save more. The atmosphere was mysterious yet fascinating, offering a deep reflection on life, death, and Thai culture. I spent hours exploring the grounds and taking photos. Baan Dam is unlike any museum I’ve visited before—artistic, thought-provoking, and deeply memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Rai.
