Sammuk Shrine

Located at Khao Sam Muk, a small hill halfway between Ban Ang Sila and Bangsaen Beach, this shrine is highly revered by merchants and fishermen. Before setting sail, fishermen often come to pay homage and pray for a safe journey and escape from danger. People also come here to pray for luck, health, and love, etc. There is a legend about the tragic love story of a man and a woman who were of different social status and were discriminated against by their families. One day, the woman named Muk decided to jump off a cliff, and when the man named Saen found out, he jumped to his death.
